Dish “Nicaea” Maranatha Lab (art.6408b)
Maranatha Lab’s “Nicaea” dish is a precious liturgical vase in fusion of chiseled two-tone brass.
The dish has a finely decorated modernstyle. It has internally a smooth-finish cup in gold bath brass while the lower half-cup is finely chiseled. The stylized festoons of the décor give the dish a modern style.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals and consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.
The base is with a smooth and glossy gold finish.
Its sobriety makes it suitable for ordinary liturgies but also for solemn liturgies in both classical and modern liturgical contexts.
