Chalice “Nicaea” Maranatha Lab (art.6408)

The “Nicaea” glass by Maranatha Lab is a refined liturgical vase made in modern style in two-tone brass.

The chalice is generated by essential surveyors. It has the top edge and cup interior with a golden glossy finish, while the cup and base are made with a particular rough, plastic and golden hammered finish. On the base stand out the plastic figures chiseled in silver finish with scenes taken from the Last Supper

Chiseling is a processing generally performed on precious metals and consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.

On the other hand, hammering is a working carried out on cold metals with the hammer in order to obtain an effect of pits and reliefs on the surface.

The chalice, for its refinement and elegance, is well suited to classic canteens and solemn liturgical celebrations.

The “Nicea” glass is a personalized object of high liturgical craftsmanship produced in Italy by Maranatha Lab, an Italian laboratory of sacred vestments and liturgical furnishings in which originality, quality of raw materials and craftsmanship excellence give life to handmade objects and packages of the highest quality.

Maranatha Lab is a Lucanian liturgical laboratory and is the result of a combination of traditional heritage of artisan techniques and design innovation, as well as a place of synergies and artistic and creative collaborations.

Maranatha Lab’s sacred silvers all have the singularity of being identified with custom names.
