The Veil-Humeral “ Spikes “by Maranatha Lab is a precious liturgical vestment packaged in a cool wool fabric.
The fabric of fresh wool is a medium or light weight woolen fabric that is made from multi-ply combed yarns. It has a uniform, granular, porous and resistant surface and one of its main characteristics is that it does not crease. Cool wool is soft and light, opaque and restful to the eye.
Also called continence or vimpa , the humeral veil is one shawl rectangular in shape, with variable measures in length and width. Usually they are between 2.5 and 3 meters in length by 60 and 100 cm in width.
The sacred mantle is embellished with a sophisticated direct embroidery with floral motifs and spikes in gold and silver at both ends of the shawl and monogram “ Jhs ” in the center.
