Maranatha Lab’s “Sinai” pisside is a liturgical vase with stylized and essential lines made of silver-finished brass.
The pisside has a modern style rendered through linear geometries and is made particular and precious by the scratched workmanship performed on the cup, handle and lid.
Scratching is a workmanship carried out on cold metals with the hammer, in order to obtain an effect of engravings and reliefs on the surface.
The peculiarity of this sacred vase lies in the absence of decorations that makes it minimal, modern and essential. The only element with a gold finish is the cross sculpture made on the lid as a prensile knob.
