Plateresque is an artistic style that flourished in Spain in the 15th and 16th centuries. Si tratta di uno stile architettonico molto ornato e composto a imitazione dei lavori di argenteria (in spagnolo plata), da cui proviene il nome di plateresco.
The pisside, with a slender line, has a glossy cup and lid decorated with a delicate and meticulous Greek floral motifs.
The handle and circular base are finely turned and molded. A refined chisel with natural motifs embellishes them.
