“Nativity” Chalice by Maranatha Lab (Item No. 156)
The “Nativity” chalice by Maranatha Lab is a 17th-century-style liturgical vessel made entirely of two-tone cast silver.
The chalice features a classic style, richly decorated in the 17th-century Baroque style. It is slender and has a smooth finish, made of gold-plated brass both inside and out. The lower half of the cup is richly decorated with Baroque friezes and vine motifs.
Refined, delicate angelic figures adorn the globe-shaped handle. The multi-lobed base is decorated with refined carvings depicting the birth of the Baby Jesus, the Adoration of the Shepherds, and the Adoration of the Magi. The two-tone finish of the decorative friezes gives the glass a refined and elegant style that makes it suitable for dining rooms of any style, whether classic or modern.
The richness of its decorations makes it particularly suitable for solemn liturgies.
