Chalice “Flagellation” Maranatha Lab (art. 2948)
The “Flagellation” Chalice by Maranatha Lab is a refined glass of design in gilded brass that evokes the Baroque style.
The chalice is essential in decorations. Made entirely of gilded brass, it is generated by harmonic and plastic moldings. The peculiarity of this chalice lies in the engravings that decorate the cup. They represent the signs of the flagellation that Jesus suffered in the Passion.
Another important element is the triangular handle on which stands out a medallion enamelled with the Jhs monogram made with characters that evoke Jewish fonts. A drop enamelled in red is a symbol of the blood shed by Christ.
The turned base with double molding concludes the sacred vase.
