“Koinonia” Set by Maranatha Lab (Item No. 6456)
The “Koinonia” set by Maranatha Lab is in the Baroque style and is made entirely of finely chiseled two-tone cast brass.
The set features a classic, ornate style in the tradition of 17th-century Baroque design. It is slender and elegant, with a smooth-finished cup plated in gold both inside and out. The lower half of the cup is richly decorated with intricate, painstakingly carved Baroque friezes, cruciform motifs, and amethyst-colored gemstones.
Chiseling is a processing generally performed on precious metals and consists of cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.
Natural decorative friezes decorate the globe handle, while the circular base recalls the decorations that embellish the cup. The two-tone finish of the decorative friezes gives the glass a refined and elegant style that makes it suitable for canteens of any style, whether classic or modern.
Its sobriety makes it suitable for ordinary liturgies but also for solemn ones.
