Maranatha Lab “Sacred-Heart” Chalice (art. 211)
The“Sacred-Heart” chalice by Maranatha Lab is a two-tone brass liturgical vase made in baroque style.
The cup is in polished gold finish, both internally and externally. The undercover is finely chiseled with classic ornamental motifs.
The globe of the handle is also decorated with classic ornamental motifs.
The peculiarity of this chalice lies in the polylobed circular base decorated with embossed figures of Christ, the Sacred Heart, Jhs monogram and triangle with the eye of God.
The decorations of the sacred vase are made using the technique of lost wax casting which consists in creating a wax model and using it to make a mold. By drilling two holes on the mold, one at the top and one at the bottom, you let the wax out by heating it and pour molten metal in its place. This is the same model as wax.
The two-tone finish and the richness of the ornaments give the glass a refined and elegant style that makes it suitable for canteens of any style, whether they are classic or modern. This liturgical vessel is well suited to solemn liturgical celebrations.
