Calice “Isaac” Maranatha Lab (art.6191)
The “Isaac” chalice by Maranatha Lab is a refined liturgical vase made in modern style in two-tone brass.
The glass with essential lines with a golden glossy finish both internally and externally. It has an entirely hammered surface, while the upper edge is smooth and glossy finish. On the base stand out the chiseled decorations by hand cantilevered. They are stylized and made of silver-finished brass and represented wheat ears and a bunch of grapes
The turned base is decorated with the same processes as on the cup.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.
Hammering is a workmanship performed on cold metals with the hammer, in order to obtain an effect of pits and reliefs on the surface.
