Goblet “Abraham” Maranatha Lab (art.6192)

The “Abraham” chalice by Maranatha Lab is a refined liturgical vase made in modern style in two-tone brass.

The chalice has a golden glossy cup both internally and externally. The silver-finish under wedge is characterized by a wavy edging; it is decorated with a hammered workmanship on which are chiseled by hand with refined engraving motifs of ears and grapes.

The handle consists of a globe with a glossy golden finish.

The turned base is decorated with the same processes as on the cup.

Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.

Hammering is a workmanship performed on cold metals with the hammer, in order to obtain an effect of pits and reliefs on the surface.
