The chalice cover (o ball ) is a small one round fabric with decorations made with direct embroidery with a diameter of 15 cm, used to cover the chalice , especially from Offertory to Communion.

It is embellished with the refined Franciscan symbol of the two arms and a Tau cross in the sign of Saint Francis . A refined lace white edging embellishes the ball.
