The Tabernacle “Pentecost” by Maranatha Lab is a precious liturgical furniture made of two-tone bronze.
The Tabernacle is the container in which the ostiesand particulate matter are kept, commonly collected in thepisside,consecrated after the Eucharistic celebration.
This recessed tabernacle consists of a silver bronze ray system embellished with scratched workmanship.
The stylized symbols of wheat and grapes are chiseled to thediameters. The door has a gold finish that contrasts with the silver base. It is decorated with a cantilevered workmanship representing a dove and a chalice with host.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a detecting process, made with engravings and changes.
The tabernacle has, for its lines and its workmanship, a modern and contemporary style that fits well into modern liturgical contexts.
