Chiseled canteen tabernacle (Art. 6608)

This chiseled canteen tabernacle is a sacred case made entirely of glossy two-tone brass.

The Tabernacle is the container in which the ostiesand particulate matter are kept, commonly collected in thepisside,consecrated after the Eucharistic celebration.

It is conceived in gothic style and is made up of a kind of temple. Surmounted on a square base, it is supported by twisted columns on which pinnacles are erected. The porticoes with pointed arch are decorated with Eucharistic symbols and the main door decorated with chiseled effigies of the Four Evangelists.

Chiseling is a processing that is generally carried out on precious metals and consists of cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a relief workmanship, made with engravings and changes.
