Chalice and paten in style Romanesque produced by the Spanish company of sacred furnishings Molina.
The coordinated chalice with paten is characterized by the engraving on the cup of the figures of the gods 12 Apostles enclosed in niches.
The typically Romanesque representation is enhanced by the base decorated with a Greek and from one Celtic cross, unlike the handle which is decorated with a decorative acanthus leaf pattern. The geometry of the cup strongly evokes the medieval style.
The chalice is an object of great artistic value not only for the minutiae of the figurative chisel but also for the preciousness of the inner cup which is finished with a bath. gold, also visible on the outside of the cup edge.
There paten it is decorated with a central perimeter Greek framing one Celtic cross .
