St. Remy monstrance (art.273)
The Romanesque St. Remy monstrance is a real one artwork.
The monstrance is entirely handmade and is made of solid 925 silver with a gold bath.
The Romanesque St. Remy monstrance reproduces the style of St. Remy chalice .
The circular base is hand chiseled with arched motifs. The reliquary is adorned with a rays decorated with cloisonné fired enamel in watermark.
The preciousness of this jewel is enhanced by 40 natural stones set (amethysts, lapis lazuli, venturine and grenades).

The most ancient medieval goldsmith traditions are combined with the most modern and sophisticated gilding techniques and guarantee the verisimilitude of the original piece of art. Thus the art object acquires the requisites so that its value can increase over time.
The gold bath gives luster and royalty to the Sacred Custody.
The St. Remy chalice reproduces the coronation chalice which was therefore part of the insignia of the kingdom of France.
The original copy belongs to the treasury of the Notre-Dame de Reims cathedral and is kept at the Tau Palace in the Musée de l’Oeuvre de Notre-Dame. It is classified comun historical monument French.
