contemporary style two-tone brass pyx characterized by a hammered handle and decorative Greek embossed on the cup. Made by Molina

Two-colored brass pyx (art.2990)

The two-tone brass pyx is a sacred contemporary style vase that belongs to the collection Artimetal of the Spanish art house Molina.

The pyx is characterized by stylized and essential lines that make it particularly suitable for more contemporary canteens but also for classic ones.

It has a lot of line minimal and harmonic and is made singular by some elements, that is it is worked entirely with a glossy finish, with the exception of the globe and part of the cup. The globe handle, in fact, is hammered as well as a corrugated decorative Greek on the cup.

The fret decoration is the only part of the pyx with a golden finish and the refinement of the decoration makes it, in its simplicity, elegant.

Its two-tone cast brass finish gives it a very bright appearance. Its sobriety makes it suitable for ordinary liturgies but also for solemn ones.

The inside of the cup has a shiny golden finish. The lid of the pyx has a smooth and shiny silver finish

The pyx is made by the sacred goldsmith’s company Molina , a Spanish laboratory known all over the world for the heritage of craft techniques kept by the master craftsmen who are part of it.

The pyx is coordinated with the chalice art. 2989
