The Cope is a liturgical vestment from ancient origins which consists of a large cloak with one rear shield, reminiscent of the ancient hood that adorned it; it is almost to the foot long, open at the front and fastened at the chest with a clasp. It is worn by presbyters on solemn occasions, especially during the Eucharistic blessing solemn.
The sacred mantle is embellished with golden stolon and border embroidered with oriental motifs entirely made of beads. The pure silk fabric gives the liturgical garment well-defined geometries and elegance.
