Pisside “Malachia” Maranatha Lab (art.2477)

The pisside “Malachia” by Maranatha Lab is a liturgical vase with stylized and essential lines made of silver-finished brass.

The pisside has a modern style rendered through linear geometries and is made particular and precious by the hammered workmanship carried out on the cup, handle and lid.

Hammering is a workmanship performed on cold metals with the hammer, in order to obtain an effect of pits and reliefs on the surface.

A refined chiseling of cruciform symbols and diamond geometries decorates the cup and lid. The only element with a gold finish is the cross sculpture made on the lid as a prensile knob.

Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a detecting process, made with engravings and changes.

The pisside “Malachia” is a personalized object of high liturgical craftsmanship produced in Italy by Maranatha Lab, an Italian laboratory of sacred vestments and liturgical furnishings in which originality, quality of raw materials and craftsmanship excellence give life to handmade objects and packages of the highest quality.

Its sobriety makes it suitable for ordinary liturgies but also for solemn liturgies in both classical and modern liturgical contexts.

Maranatha Lab is a liturgical laboratory Lucanian, the result of a combination of traditional heritage of craft techniques and design innovation, as well as a place of synergies and artistic and creative collaborations .

Maranatha Lab’s sacred silvers all have the singularity of being identified with custom names.
