Pisside “Exodus” Maranatha Lab (art.2820)
The pisside “Exodus” by Maranatha Lab is a liturgical vase with stylized and essential lines that evoke the Romanesque style.
The pisside has a very minimal line and is made singular by the chiseling made on the lid, cup and base. It is decorated with medallions thrown with wheat symbols on the cup and crosses at the handle and is embellished with an emerald green stone. The base is decorated with medallions bearing the effigy of Christ and the Crismon monogram.
The language of the decorations evokes the Celtic style.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a detecting process, made with engravings and changes.
The pisside has a cup interior in the golden bath, while the exterior is two-tone.
