Gothic chalice with brass medallions (art.199)
The chalice gothic with medallions is a chalice entirely made of golden brass . The shapes and rich decorations of the chalice are typical of the style Gothic .
The goblet is rich in floral motif decorations on the cup and at the base while the globe handle is finished with a smooth glossy finish.
The peculiarity of this chalice lies in the polylobed octagonal base, typical of Gothic chalices. The base is decorated with embossed medallions with figures of the Sacred Heart, Jesus Christ, Holy Mary and Saint Joseph. The silver finish makes the medallions stand out on the rest of the sacred liturgical vase.
The embossed processing gives the glass a very rich aspect that makes it important. Its height makes it particularly slender.
Its entirely golden finish makes it very bright. Even if it is a Gothic chalice, its lines are well suited to the more classic canteens but also to the more modern and contemporary ones.
