Modern-style brass chalice (item 2631)
The Crismon cast chalice is a contemporary-style chalice from the Artimetal collection by the Spanish art house Molina.
The Calice is a sacred vessel with stylized, minimalist lines that make it particularly well-suited for contemporary dining settings.
It has a very minimalist and harmonious design and is made unique by a satin finish across its entire exterior surface.
The Chrismon symbol is embossed on the base of the chalice as a decorative element. The Chrismon symbol is the monogram of Christ, also known as the Chi-Rho.
It is a combination of letters from the Greek alphabet that form an abbreviation of Christ’s name.
Of a solar nature, often depicted within a circle with multiple rays reminiscent of a wheel cosmica derived from the ancient solar emblems of the Egitto, It is traditionally used as a Christian symbol and is one of the main Christograms.
Its finish, made entirely of cast gilded brass, gives it a brilliant luster. Its understated design makes it suitable for both ordinary and solemn liturgies.
The knob on the handle is turned and has a glossy finish
The chalice was crafted by Molina, a Spanish workshop specializing in sacred metalwork that is renowned worldwide for the wealth of traditional techniques preserved by its master artisans.
