Maranatha Lab “Lamb” Bib Cross (art. 6407)

The “Lamb” bib cross by Maranatha Lab is a precious two-tone brass bishop’s article.

The pectoral cross is, togetherwith the episcopal ring, mitria and pastoral, one of the episcopal insignia given to the bishop during the celebration of episcopal ordination. It can be made of silver or gold and represents the bishop’s fidelity to his diocese and, more generally, to the Church of Christ.

In addition to denoting the dignity of the wearer, the cross would have no value either of ornament or jewel, but of a precious symbol of faith and a visible and material sign of the bond with Christ.

The cross “Agnello” is a precious object of sacred orifice decorated with Greek motifs and symbol of the Immolated Lamb. The cross is embellished with stones set in ruby red color.
