Surplice “Genova” Maranatha Lab (art. 4038)
The “Genoa” surplice of Maranatha Lab is a precious one liturgical dress made in a refined and flowing fabric of wool mix .
The fabric wool mix is a medium weight fabric made with multi-ply combed wool yarns. It has a uniform, granular, porous and resistant surface and one of its main characteristics is that it does not crease. The wool blend is soft and light, opaque and restful to the eye.
The crush has a classic Roman cut and is enriched by three folds that give volume and breadth to the dress. It is embellished on the sleeves and at the edge of the dress by a macrame lace ivory color 45 cm high with floral motifs.
The macrame is a lace created according to an ancient seafaring technique; it is made with yarns intertwined and knotted together, without the aid of needles or hooks.
The Roman neckline shaped and the essential line make the crush elegant and refined therefore it is suitable for solemn celebrations in both classic and modern contexts.
