The “Capernaum” chasuble of Maranatha Lab is one liturgical vestment made of fabric lurex wool and decorated with a Gothic stolon and neck in lurex wool embroidered in gold with motifs crosses .

The lurex is a particular type of laminated yarn in polyester fiber characterized by high tenacity. This fiber is metallized thanks to aluminum or silver vapors which thus give it greater brilliance and is then dyed. The term lurex refers to both the thread and the fabric obtained with this thread. It can be knitted together with other natural fibers such as cotton, silk, wool.
