Visigothic brass chalice in Byzantine style made of gilded brass adorned with ruby red and emerald green stones and red enamelled cabouchon

Visigothic brass chalice (art.6117)

The brass chalice Visigoth is a liturgical vase with a singular design because it recalls the Byzantine style.

It is a precious brass chalice due to its handmade workmanship. It is decorated at the base, at the knot and on the cup with gods cabouchons enameled in fire. The manual processing with cabouchons is used to highlight plays of light or coloring.

The enameled parts alternate with parts in polished brass finished in 24 carat gold. The base has a hammered finish.

To make the glass even more precious, ruby red and emerald green stones are set which create a pleasant color blindness with the colors of the glass.

The chalice thus assumes the appearance of a medieval cup, being acneh decorated with gilded ribs.

Because of its preciousness and elegance, the chalice is well suited to imposing and classic altars.

This glass is part of the collection Sacred Artesania of Molina , the highest line of sacred jewelry in the parent company Spanish.

The Molina company is a world leader in the artisanal production of sacred furnishings in precious and semi-precious metals. It boasts a heritage of ancient craft techniques which represent its added value and its strength.
