Chalice grapes and ears (art.174)
The Gothic chalice with grapes and spikes is a very elegant and shining chalice due to its entirely golden finish, both outside and inside the cup.
It is a goblet from Gothic style , characterized by a polylobed hexagonal base and embellished with embossed decorations that rise over the entire height of the base. The overhang produces relief designs of grapes and wheat which give a rich decoration to the chalice.
The cup, enhanced by a fine crown of golden grains, is embellished with a fine engraving hand made at the edge with leaf motifs.
The chalice belongs to the collection Artimetal of Molina and is made entirely of golden brass.
