Chalice chiseled with 12 apostles (art 117)
The Chalice chiseled 12 Apostoli is a precious style chalice Romanesque entirely in solid silver with a very essential and elegant line.
Base and handle are worked with a smooth bull while the rest of the cup it is entirely engraved by hand. There base it is decorated with acanthus motifs in which they are enclosed medallions engraved with the symbols of the four Evangelists . The handle logo is decorated with natural-shaped motifs. There cup shows 12 niches in which the entire figures of the Apostles .
The finesse of the hand engraving is enhanced by the gilded cup inside.
Even if the lines evoke the Romanesque style for the cleanliness and essentiality of the lines, the glass is very modern and perfectly suited to any type of context, be it classic how modern.
Entirely hand engraved by refined goldsmiths of the Spanish company Molina , an important international laboratory of master craftsmen of sacred furnishings in precious metals.
