The Gothic cut casula “Peony”is a precious priestly casula packaged in a soft gold lurex wool fabric.
The lurex is a particular type of laminated yarn in polyester fiber characterized by high tenacity. This fiber is metallized thanks to aluminum or silver vapors which thus give it greater brilliance and is then dyed. The term lurex refers to both the thread and the fabric obtained with this thread. It can be knitted together with other natural fibers such as cotton, silk, wool.
The priestly robe is decorated with a Tau stolon in lurex gold, applied to the “V” neckline and the manto, embellished with an embroidery with oriental patterned beads.
The gothic cut of the chasuble gives the dress an elegant and solemn tone and is suitable for liturgical celebrations in both classical and modern contexts.
