With the term lamè it indicates a fabric laminated in different fibers, characterized by the interposition of flat threads of shiny metal with weft and warp threads. It is a type of ancient fabric, created to embellish the worked velvets of the sacred vestments to give them sacredness and prestige.
The casula, with a wide and round classiccut, is embellished with a silk stolon embroidered with rich floral motifs in gold and symbol of theLamb peacocks and monogram Jhs.
A delicate gold agreman finishes the edge of the liturgical robe and the stolon. An elegant fringe in gold threads concludes the stolon.
