Ambone four evangelists (Art. 2148)
The fourwooden ambo quattro evangelisti is a sober and refined liturgical furniture expression of Italian cabinet-building art.
The ambone is the elevated structure from which the readings are proclaimed.
It is entirely made of solid Italian walnut wood. It has a sober and classical line and consists of a parallelepepe base on which the body of the grandstand is raised. On the front are carved by hand in four boxes identified by a cross the symbols of the four evangelists in a light finish that contrasts well with the dark color of the grandstand.
In the inner part there are shelves useful for arranging sacred texts or other objects functional to the liturgy.
The liturgical furniture is completed by an inclined top, also made of wood, for the support of sacred texts.
Sober and elegant, this sacred furniture, which presents the natural finish of wood, adapts well to both classic and modern liturgical contexts. It is also suitable to be inserted in sanctuaries of various architectural genres.
