Maranatha Lab’s Turibolo “Crismon” is an accessory for the liturgy made of glossy silver brass.
The turibolo, also called incense,is the vase, often made of metal, where it is burned incense in grains or other fragrant and penetrating essences during a religious function.
The turibolo is accompanied by the spacecraft:a small vase in which the supply of incense is stored to be added at the appropriate time in the turibolo. The altar boy in charge of bringing the turibolo is called a turiferary. In procession, the turiferary carries the turibolo with his right hand and the spacecraft with his left.
The “Maria” turibolo and spacecraft set is entirely chiseled by hand with classic natural motifs. Its moldings make it particularly elegant and suitable for both classic and modern liturgical contexts. A medallion with a symbol of christ’s monogram embellishes it.
