Romanesque “Evangelisti” chalice (item 6118)
The Romanesque Evangelisti chalice is a liturgical vessel in the Romanesque style, featuring the stylized and simple lines typical of the Romanesque style, which make it suitable for altars of any style.
The chalice has a very minimalist design and is made unique by hand-chiseled work covering its entire outer surface. The bowl is decorated with figures of the Twelve Apostles, while the handle features the likenesses of the four Evangelists, also created using the hand-chiseled technique.
The hand-chiseled finish gives the goblet a refined and elegant style. In addition to its subtle simplicity, this type of craftsmanship evokes a scene from the Gospel in the Twelve Apostles.
Its all-silver finish makes it very shiny and elegant. Its understated design makes it suitable for both ordinary and solemn liturgies.
The inside of the cup is finished with a gold plating.
The chalice is crafted by Molina, a Spanish artisan workshop specializing in sacred metalwork that is renowned worldwide for the wealth of traditional techniques preserved by the master artisans who incorporate them into their works of art. The chalice is part of the Artesania Sacra collection of sacred furnishings, Molina’s line of the highest artistic quality.
