The Piviale “Malta”by Maranatha Lab is a sacred vestment handcrafted in a soft fabric of pure silk.
The Cope is a liturgical vestment from ancient origins which consists of a large cloak with one rear shield, reminiscent of the ancient hood that adorned it; it is almost to the foot long, open at the front and fastened at the chest with a clasp. It is worn by presbyters on solemn occasions, especially during the Eucharistic blessing solemn.
The two edge bands of the pivial and the neck are decorated with a precious stolon in lurex silk embroidered in gold with gilded motifs in a Maltese cross. An elegant golden hook stops the two sides of the pivial. A refined nappa leather in gold threads concludes the rear shield.
The fit is the comfortable and wide one of the gothic cut.
