Pisside “Onesimo” Maranatha Lab (art.6111/p)
Maranatha Lab’s pisside “Onesimo” is a precious liturgical vase in fusion of two-tone brass chiseled by hand.
The pisside has a classic style, rich in decorations; it has a smooth finish cup in gold bath brass, both internally and externally. The lower half-cup is finely hammered and decorated with hand chiseled floral motifs.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a detecting process, made with engravings and changes.
The globe knot has a smooth and satin workmanship, while the base is hammered and decorated with chiseled Eucharistic symbols.
Its sobriety makes it suitable for ordinary liturgies but also for solemn ones.
