Miter silk and Pietrobon rubies (4268)
The Pietrobon silk and ruby miter is a precious one bishop’s miter with a slightly rounded cusp made of lurex silk.
Its preciousness lies in the embroidery that adorns the border, the central cusp part and the end of the infule. The embroidery consists of square tiles embroidered in gold and black threads that have a three-dimensional effect embellished with a golden bead in the center. The four central squares form a Greek cross embellished with bright ruby red diamond-cut crystals.A floral motif embroidery frames the cross
The end of the infule bows is decorated with the same crystal embroidery and floral decoration. The fringe with bows in gold threads, attached to the infule with small golden globes, elegantly concludes the sacred headgear.
