Dalmatian “Chrysostom” Maranatha Lab (art. 1173)

The Dalmatian “Chrysostom”by Maranatha Lab is a sacred vestment for deacons hand-made in a soft fabric of pure silk.

The dalmatica is a wide tunic, long even below the knees, used in Dalmatia and then throughout the territory of the Roman Empire from the 2nd century. d. C. onwards, adorned along the edges by red bands with motifs of pure red circles. In the Latin liturgy it remained in use as a liturgical garment, wide and open on the sides, with wide sleeves and short, low-cut; it is proper to the deacon, but also worn, under the planet or the chasuble, by bishops and cardinal priests.

The dalmatian is elegant and essential in the lines, decorated with an embroidery on the edge of geometric inlays. A delicate Agreman borders the robe andsleeves.

The square neckline makes the sacred tunic elegant in its simplicity.

This silk dalmatic is a personalized package of high liturgical craftsmanship produced in Italy by Maranatha Lab, an Italian laboratory of liturgical tailoring where originality, quality of raw materials and artisan excellence give life to handmade sacred vestments of the highest quality.

Maranatha Lab is the result of a combination of tradition of craft techniques and design innovation, as well as a place of synergies and creative collaborations.

The liturgical vestments made by Maranatha Lab all have the singularity of being identified with biblical names or evangelicals or linked to symbols of the Christian tradition.

This is one handcrafted and tailored packaging of value and quality made in Italy.
