Cross Bib “Tralci” Maranatha Lab (art. 68)
The “Tralci” bib cross by Maranatha Lab is a precious bishop’s article made of two-tone brass.
The pectoral cross is, togetherwith the episcopal ring at mitria and pastoral, one of the episcopal insignia given to the bishop during the celebration of episcopal ordination. It can be made of silver or gold and represents the bishop’s fidelity to his diocese and, more generally, to the Church of Christ.

The cross “Tralci” is a precious object of sacred orifice decorated with motifs of olive trees and bunches of grapes. The friezes are made by the lost wax casting method.
The lost wax casting technique is to create a wax model and use it to make it a mold. By drilling two holes on the mold, one at the top and one at the bottom, the wax comes out and heats it and pours molten metal in its place. The result is a model identical to that of wax
