Cope gothic cut Pietrobon (art.1126)
The Peterbon gothic-cut cope is a sacred vestment handcrafted in a precious fabric of lurex wool .
The whole edge of the cope is decorated with a stolon in lurex silk hand embroidered with classic – renaissance ornamental motif in gold threads on a dark background. The pointed rear shield is entirely embroidered and embellished with a staple in gold threads.
The fit is the comfortable and flowing one of the gothic cut .
The lurex is a particular type of laminated yarn in polyester fiber characterized by high tenacity. This fiber is metallized thanks to aluminum or silver vapors which thus give it greater brilliance and is then dyed. The term lurex refers to both the thread and the fabric obtained with this thread. In addition to wool, it can be knitted together with other natural fibers, such as silk and cotton.
Strictly handmade in Italy by skilled artisans starting from a paper pattern of the chasuble to get to package a high quality product.
