Calice “Effatà” Maranatha Lab (art. 6248)

The “Effatà” glass by Maranatha Lab is a precious glass made in plateresque style.

Plateresque is an artistic style that flourished in Spain in the 15th and 16th centuries. It is an architectural style very ornate and composed in imitation of the works of silverware (in Spanish plata),from which comes the name of plateresco.

The chalice has a richly decorated surface with a fine work of engraving. It has a smooth finish cup finished internally with a gold bath. The lower half-cup is richly decorated with chisel of natural friezes and symbols of the four evangelists. Ruby red set stones embellish the cup.

Refined Eucharistic friezes decorate the hexagonal globe handle. The polylobate base is decorated with effigies of the blown Apostles and ruby-red set stones. The silver finish of the decorative friezes gives the glass a refined and elegant style that makes it suitable for canteens of any style, be they classic or modern.

Il calice, per la sua sontuosità ed eleganza, ben si adatta a mense classiche e a celebrazioni liturgiche solenni.
