The Casula “Colossesi” by Maranatha Lab is a precious chasuble with direct embroidery packaged in a moirè fabric.
The moirè fabric, also known as“watered silk”,is a type of fabric that wants to imitate the ripples of water. Used since the Middle Ages in clothing, it was made only of silk taffeta but later also in wool, cotton and synthetic fibers such as viscose (rayon).
The chasublate, with a wide and roundish classic cut, is embellished with a direct embroidery on the front of a four-pointed flower inscribed in a square.
The embroidered edge makes the chasublate further valuable.
The neck is round and makes the chasuble refined in its simplicity. The classic cut and the softness of the fabric give the chasuble a flowing and comfortable fit.
A delicate golden or silver agreman (for the purple chasuble) finishes and borders the stolon and the liturgical robe.
