Gothic brass tabernacle (art.6140)
The Tabernacle gothic table in brass is a precious table tabernacle, handmade by the Spanish workshop Molina .
This tabernacle is a specimen in Gothic style and it is entirely handmade in shiny golden brass.
Topped on a chiseled base, the case is styled Ark of the Covenant and is entirely decorated with embossed figures of the Twelve Apostles on all four sides.
The embossed figures stand out against a vivid background enamelled in blue with the technique cloisonné .
Cloisonné is an artistic enamel decoration technique. Thin wires ( watermarks ) or strips or small metal partitions (usually copper ), cells or alveoli (called in French cloisons ) are welded or glued to a support plate of the work to be built.
The Gothic table tabernacle is part of the line Sacred Artesania and is made by the Spanish laboratory of sacred art Molina where craftsmanship and refined goldsmith techniques are mixed to give life to liturgical furnishings that are true jewels of sacred art.
