24 karat gold baroque monstrance (art.271)

The 24 carat gold monstrance is a very precious liturgical piece of our collection.

L ‘monstrance is made entirely of solid 925 silver.

The entire case is precious for the richness of the decorations, all made with hand-made engravings. The base and the handle show acanthus leaf decorations, typical of the Baroque style. The molding of the base also evokes the baroque forms.

It is an object of sacred art of high goldsmith craftsmanship and reaches the maximum decoration on the reliquary and in particular on the rays. It is decorated with niches in which the 12 Apostles are represented and the symbols of the four evangelists are depicted on the four main rays, made with the enameled technique. cloisonné .

Cloisonné is an artistic enamel decoration technique. Thin wires ( watermarks ) or strips or small metal partitions (usually copper ) cells or alveoli (called in French cloisons ) are welded or glued to a support plate of the work to be built.

Subsequently in the areas detected by the metal is poured nail varnish , obtaining a sort of mosaic whose tesserae are circumscribed exactly by the metal strips.

The sacred case is made even more precious by the 24 carat gold bath which gives it luster and royalty.

This monstrance represents the highest degree of goldsmithing of the parent company Molina.

Molina is a Spanish sacred art laboratory known all over the world where craftsmanship and technological innovation come together to create true works of sacred art.

The monstrance is part of the Molina collection Sacred Artesania , the highest and most prestigious line of the Spanish house.
