Dalmatic cross lily Pietrobon (art.1169)
There dalmatic Pietrobon lily cross is a white sacred vestment made with a mixed fabric in wool and lurex .
The lurex is a particular type of laminated yarn in polyester fiber characterized by high tenacity. This fiber is metallized thanks to aluminum or silver vapors which thus give it greater brilliance and is then dyed. The term lurex refers to both the thread and the fabric obtained with this thread. It can be knitted together with other natural fibers such as cotton, silk, wool.
Dalmatic has the round neck and is enriched by a decoration with lily and cross motifs on the sleeves and on the bottom of the dress made with a gallon in lurex silk. The same precious decoration is repeated on the two vertical clubs .
The clear background of the precious goldfish gives an elegant and solemn character to the dalmatic.
