Chalice “Deuteronomy” Maranatha Lab (art. 6091)
The “Deuteronomy” chalice by Maranatha Lab is a precious chalice crafted in the Plateresque style.
Plateresque is an artistic style that flourished in Spain during the 15th and 16th centuries. It is a highly ornate architectural style modeled after silverwork (plata in Spanish), from which the name “Plateresque” derives.
The chalice, with a slender line, has a richly decorated surface with a fine hand engraving work. It has a smooth finish cup finished internally with a gold bath. The lower half-cup is richly decorated with a chisel of natural friezes.
Chiseling is a process generally performed on precious metals. It consists in the cold plastic deformation of the metal performed with the chisel. It produces a detecting process, made with engravings and changes.
The refined friezes also decorate the circular base. The silver finish of the decorative friezes gives the glass a refined and elegant style that makes it suitable for canteens of any style, be they classic or modern.
The knot is embellished with a cobalt blue hardstone.
