Brass Ears of Wheat Chalice (Item 188)
The Brass Ears of Wheat Chalice is a sacred vessel with stylized, minimalist lines that make it particularly well-suited for more contemporary altars.
The goblet has a very minimalist design and is made unique by an embossed pattern covering its entire outer surface. It is decorated with a motif of three-dimensional ears of wheat.
The three-dimensional repoussé technique gives the goblet a textured appearance that makes it unique. In addition to the textured effect, this technique evokes an element of early Christian tradition through the depictions of wheat ears.
Its entirely gilded finish makes it very luminous. Its understated design makes it suitable for both ordinary and solemn liturgies.
