Visigothic chalice in the Byzantine style, made of gilded brass and adorned with ruby-red and emerald-green stones and red-enameled cabochons

Visigothic brass chalice (item no. 6117)

The Visigoth brass chalice is a liturgical vessel with a unique design because it evokes the Byzantine style.

This brass goblet is prized for its handcrafted details. It is decorated at the base, the stem, and the bowl with fire-enameled cabochons. The handcrafted cabochon technique is used to highlight the play of light and color.

The enameled sections alternate with polished brass sections finished in 24-karat gold. The base features a hammered finish.

What makes the glass even more precious are the ruby-red and emerald-green stones set into it, which create a pleasing harmony of colors with the glass itself.

The chalice thus takes on the appearance of a medieval cup, as it is decorated with golden ribs.

Thanks to its beauty and elegance, this chalice is well suited for imposing, classical altars.

This chalice is part of Molina’s Artesania Sacra collection, the Spanish parent company’s premier line of sacred jewelry.
