Chasuble “Bartolomeo” with olive embroidery (art.4859)<\/h2>\n

The chasuble “ Bartholomew<\/strong> “with Pietrobon olive embroidery is an elegant chasuble with a classic cut made in a soft fabric of viscose wool.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike wool, viscose is an artificial fiber<\/strong>. Also called “artificial silk<\/strong>“, as it is obtained through a chemical process that allows you to obtain a silky texture without the need to use silkworms. Like silk, it creates fluid and natural drapes.<\/p>\n

An excellent quality viscose will have the appearance of a cotton, soft and delicate with a fluid and soft drape. It is an easy-to-maintain fabric, which does not shrink after washing in water but which needs a good post-wash ironing<\/strong>to regain its original aspect of softness and fluidity<\/strong>. Viscose is an ideal fabric for making garments with soft and flowing lines, characteristic of priestly chasubles.<\/p>\n

The chasuble<\/strong> is decorated by one stolon in silk with direct embroidery<\/strong> on the front mantle and under the round neck<\/strong> decorated with a motif a olive leaves<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

The stolon creates a stylized reinterpretation of the pallium<\/strong> which is a liturgical vestment consisting of a strip of white wool cloth wrapped around the shoulders. It represents the sheep that the shepherd carries on his shoulders like Christ and is therefore a symbol of the pastoral task of the wearer.<\/p>\n

A delicate agremano<\/strong> finishes the edge of the chasuble.<\/p>\n
