The Episcopal chalice and paten is the reproduction of an important and precious one liturgical vase<\/strong> early medieval.<\/p>\n The original chalice was made in the second half of the 8th century in the Salzburg area and bears the name of the one who had it made, that is Tassilo III<\/strong> duke of Bavaria.<\/strong> <\/p>\n He was famous for having carried out, among other things, an intense activity in the ecclesiastical field.<\/p>\n The uniqueness of this glass in romantic style<\/strong> it is represented by typically Romanesque golden engravings; indeed figurative motifs<\/strong> on a silver background they give materiality to the sacred vase.<\/p>\n The circular base is decorated with a Latin inscription<\/strong> and also by medallions depicting the four Evangelists.<\/p>\n L’ handle<\/strong> globe is richly decorated not only with ornamental motifs but also by a necklace of golden beads.<\/p>\n The cup is embellished by the chiselling of the figures of C. risto<\/strong> , the Saints Peter and Paul<\/strong> is Holy Mary<\/strong> .<\/p>\n The refined offertory paten appears gilded and smooth on the perimeter while the center is decorated with two-tone star flower chiselling.<\/p>\n The essentiality of the lines and the richness of the engravings make this set a precious object suitable for any type of liturgical celebration.<\/p>\n Made by master craftsmen of the precious metals<\/strong> of the Spanish company Molina<\/strong> is one real sacred artwork<\/strong> <\/p>\n Dimensions<\/strong> : height<\/strong> chalice 19 cm, diameter<\/strong> cup 11.5 cm<\/p>\n Tassilo bishop’s chalice and paten, two-tone coordinated in Romanesque style, precious reproduction of the chalice of Tassilo III of Bavaria<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5166,"template":"","meta":[],"product_cat":[741,737],"product_tag":[1705,2043,2054,2059,2082,2334,2387,2561],"yoast_head":"\nDetails:<\/h3>\n
