Veil-Humeral “Bernardo” Maranatha Lab (art. 4765 / v)

The “Bernardo” Umbrella-Veil by Maranatha Lab is a precious liturgical vestment packaged in a mixed linen and hemp fabric.

Both are natural fibers which give particular movement and structure to the chasuble.

This natural fiber fabric evokes the workmanship of the ancient robe of the friars or the habit which was made with coarser fabrics.

Also called continence or vimpa , the humeral veil is one shawl rectangular in shape, with variable measures in length and width. Usually they are between 2.5 and 3 meters in length by 60 and 100 cm in width.

The sacred mantle is embellished with sophisticated embroidery cross-stitch with cruciform motifs in the center and at the ends.

The “Friar-Bernardo” humeral veil is a package personalized high liturgical crafts made in Italy by Maranatha Lab, Italian laboratory of liturgical tailoring where originality, quality of raw materials and craftsmanship excellence give life to hand-made sacred vestments of the highest quality.

Maranatha Lab is the result of a combination of tradition of craftsmanship and innovation in design, as well as a place of synergies and creative collaborations .

All the sacred vestments made by Maranatha Lab have the singularity of being identified with biblical or evangelical names.

Bernard of Quintavalle was the first follower of Francis of Assisi.

This is one handcrafted and tailored packaging of value and quality made in Italy.
